Reflection on YOUR PERSECUTORS WILL STUMBLE
Some forces pose themselves as enemies of your life and destiny. Both seen and unseen forces are attempting to stop you from reaching your God-given destiny. Both internal and external forces are dampening your spirit from a total surrender to God and an encounter with his Spirit. But because of the presence of God with, they will not succeed.
Jesus experienced many persecutions and testified: “But the Lord is with me as a dread warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumble, they will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed, for they will not succeed.
Among the enemies embattled is the world, that is the lust that war in our members (Jas.4:1), the flesh, this includes lasciviousness, lust, excess of wine, reveling, banqueting and abominable idolatries (I Pt.4:3), and the devil, the adversary who prowls like a roaring lion, seeking for whom to devour (1 Pt.5:8). This persecutor can even come in form of human beings under some unseen forces. But your persecutors will stumble.
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against power, against the ruler of darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the high places (Eph.6:12). The war is not waged against the physical opponents, but against the spirit forces of the wicked. But the good news is that your persecutors will stumble. You have to put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Eph.6:11). You have to be strong in the Lord in the power of His might (Eph.6:10). You have to be empowered through your union with God, so that you will draw strength to meet the unseen forces on earth. Your persecutors will stumble.
The Lord of power trains your hand for war and prepares your finger for battle (Ps.144:1). With the energy of Christ working powerfully in you, you can withstand all the hidden forces that tend to withstand you! Your persecutors will soon stumble.
