Daily Reflection

All the people paid closer attention to what Philip said as they listened to him and saw miraculous signs, which he did (Acts 8:6).It is astonishing that Word of God should yield marvelous result in Samaria. There was a proverbial saying that the Jews had no dealing with the Samaritans (Jn.4:9). How can the Word of God produce such a powerful fruit in a strange land?
The secret is clear in the above verse. Philip got the attention of the Samarian, which gave birth to miraculous signs and wonders. The closer attention, they gave him was the secret behind the Gospel message. 
Undivided attention is the secret of much achievement on earth. Philip must have given an undivided attention to the study of the Word. As a vibrant deacon, he separated himself to study the Word which took flesh in him.  When he was speaking, power of conviction was flowing for him and the Samarian listened to him attentively. The undivided attention they gave to the Word gave birth to miracles and wonders in Samaria.  
Have you given a closer attention to what you are doing now? Is your mind undivided in your assignment on earth? Are you paying full attention to your work on earth? 
Undivided attention is the secret of great achievers! This is the price champion paid to reach where they are now! Great mind understands this very well.
